FOUNDER

Passionate about contemporary art and art history, Juliette Grout-Fuhs specialised in art installations and scenography after graduating from La Cambre. Between 2018 and 2022, she worked in Paris as a scenographer and then as an SFX set designer.

Throughout this period, she designed and built her work herself in the workshop. Her interest in creative processes led her to devote much of her time to experimenting with new manufacturing and assembly methods, and researching alternative materials.

Radar was born in 2022 from this ongoing pursuit of creative freedom and experimentation.

RADAR

Radar is first and foremost a space for research. Each object begins with a study at the intersection of craftsmanship, art history and design. Collections are conceived as endless paths of exploration rather than final outcomes.

Every piece is shaped and polished by hand, in small series or as a one-off. Traces of the process are an integral part of Radar’s aesthetic.
