Manifesto
01RADAR IS A SPACE FOR CONTINUOUS RESEARCH.
Radar continuously investigates form. Each collection explores a different principle, without seeking to reproduce an earlier aesthetic or a method previously used by the brand. The resulting objects reflect an ever-evolving process of thought.
02SOMETIMES THE TOOL MUST BE INVENTED BEFORE THE OBJECT.
Tools are more than a means of production: they are instruments of research. Developing new techniques and manufacturing processes opens up new formal possibilities and contributes directly to the emergence of objects.
03EVERY PROCESS LEAVES ROOM FOR THE UNEXPECTED.
The processes developed by Radar do not seek total control. Each is artisanal and retains an element of chance, allowing variations to emerge in the objects produced. This encounter between intention and accident is integral to the creative process: traces of the gesture become part of the final form.
04FICTION AND ART HISTORY HAVE AN EQUALLY LEGITIMATE PLACE IN THE CREATIVE PROCESS.
Radar plays with history and the past as spaces for creation and reinvention, from which new objects can emerge. In each study, established facts and fiction intertwine freely, without a predetermined hierarchy.
